What this build stores now, and what must change if analytics, advertising or other optional technologies are introduced.

What is used now

The package stores one local preference named heritage-cookie-choice so the banner is not repeatedly shown after the visitor makes a choice.

No advertising scripts bundled

No Google AdSense, analytics, behavioural advertising or third-party tracking code is included in the static package.

If optional cookies are added

Introduce a consent mechanism appropriate to the technologies actually deployed, prevent non-essential storage before the required choice, and maintain a current cookie list.

Changing your choice

In this demonstration, clearing site data in the browser resets the stored banner preference. A production consent platform may provide a dedicated preferences control.
