How The Heritage WSM journal is intended to maintain useful, original and transparent travel content.

Reader-first purpose

Articles are commissioned around distinct user intents: planning, accommodation fit, food, day trips, occasions and responsible travel. Pages should not exist simply to create advertising inventory.

Accuracy and verification

Stable planning advice may be explained directly. Time-sensitive facts should be checked with primary sources, and unsupported property claims should not be introduced for decorative specificity.

Independence

Advertising, affiliates or commercial partners should not receive undisclosed influence over conclusions. Material commercial relationships should be labelled.

Updates

Pages should be reviewed when local access, transport, policy or operator information materially changes. Revision dates can be added once a formal publishing workflow is in place.

Artificial intelligence and editorial tools

Tools may assist research, drafting, quality checks or production, but the publisher remains responsible for accuracy, usefulness, originality and policy compliance.
